David Henderson, ACF, is the owner of Henderson Forestry Consultants, and he has been a consulting forester serving landowners in the North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia area for 35 years. A Registered Forester in both North and South Carolina, David says humbly that it took him a good eight years to get the hang of owning his own business and 20 years to get a good handle on consulting! He earned a degree in Forestry from N.C. State University and a Certificate in GIS from Montgomery Community College, and he has been deeply active in the American Tree Farm System, the Association of Consulting Foresters, the Society of American Foresters, and the North and South Carolina Forestry Associations. David was recently awarded Forester of the Year by the NC chapter of the Association of Consulting Foresters.
